Welcome to SRT PAT, we're a local friendly Portable Appliance Testing service based in Derby.

SRT PAT is run by me, Scott Trelfa, I've always had a passion for all things electrical!
I have an NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Engineering and a PAT qualification.
Over the last few years I have been making and selling upcycled lamps and restored vintage lighting, I thought it was great idea to share my knowledge and experience and provide a Portable Appliance Testing service especially for local small businesses who need an affordable, simple solution for PAT testing and electrical safety.

I work as an insurance underwriter full time so I have a n in depth understanding of risk management including risk assessments and how Portable Appliance Testing ties in with health & safety and risk management.

I also have held market stalls at various events and fairs to sell my lamps, therefore I have a first hand experience of the needs that organisers have for stall-holders to have their equipment PAT tested. Often as a new market trader or small business owner you may only need to have just one or two items tested, which could make traditional PAT testing cost-prohibiting.

That's why we are happy to help, we are able to test single items or multiple items to meet your needs, with prices from just £0.95 per item (minimum of £35 applies for the first 10 items) for multiple items or single items for just £10.
